my hamster is 1year old and i was wondering how old they get before they die.

hamsters usualy live for 2-3 years at the most. but this is if u take care of them well.

2 years is a good age, they usually live up to about 3. The oldest hamster I knew was 3 and a half tho!
My first hamster lived to 1 and a half before I had him put to sleep for various illnesses. My second lived to 2 and a half before I found her dead one morning.

Anywhere from 2-5 years depending on the breed. Though most only seem to live for 2 years.

Most hamsters are supposed to live up to one year however mine has lived for about one a half so far. Probably two or three years at the most.

I to had the same question.. This is what a veternarian told me to do.. Once a night make sure you are wearing tight panties... Let the hamster go down on you... If he gets a taste of it he'll live for 15 years, if not he will die quick. Hope i helped you

dwarf usually last 1-3 years and serians about 3-4
your hamster is about in the middle of its life

u mite consider givin ur hamster more fresh food and vitamins etc for it to live longer. tho it can die due to diseases if the cage is kept unclean.
