Comp./collision will cover the damage caused by an accident, less your deductible.
It is wise to weigh between the cost of the potential rate increase and the amount of coverage you'll receive after the deductible.

Depends on your insurance. I have minimum legal insurance, which doesn't cover any damage to my motorcycle for any reason. Fortunately, my motorcycle is worthless.

Sure, with collision coverage, no problem. Check your policy - for the deductible for the collision portion is often different that the liability.

It will if you have comprehensive, but the increased premiums it would cost you would make it a bad idea for anything but major damage.
