As normal as most random fears - I'm afraid of most animals - dogs, kangaroos, magpies, sheep, cattle, ants (Yes, that's right, ANTS) but not spiders, snakes, and other more normal animals. I know someone who is afraid of basketball rings attached to house fronts. I think your fear is perfectly randomly normal.

Not particularly normal I don't think but everyone has irrational fears. I have a fear of flushing toilets. And when they don't flush.
