You can find lots of places to host a website. Some are free, like geocities (run by yahoo), myspace, xanga, etc. Others will charge you. I set up a site on homestead.com and had good luck. Basic service was $100/year, the more advanced was $200/year. You'll have to see what this or other hosts offer, and decide what fits your situation best. Try searching for "web hosting" to get an idea what's out there.

There are several differences between the two basic types of services:

Free places will most often place ads in or over your page - for-fee hosts don't.

Free will probably limit the size of your page, or the number of times it can be displayed in a month. For-fee hosts won't, or will give you larger limits.

Free hosts may provide basic tools to update your site, or no tools at all. For-fee hosts will more likely provide better tools that you don't need advance training to use.

Free hosts may provide only basic services - here's your web page, now be happy with it. For-fee hosts can provide more - e-mail addresses, mailing lists, access to paypal to be able to sell items, objects like pull-down lists, checkboxes, radio buttons, etc.

Free hosts might make you use their URL as part of the page address - it might be something like payus.com/baygurl.html. The for-fee hosts are more likely to let you have your own url - maybe babygurl.net?

Getting your own website is very easy and will cost next to nothing. What internet service are you currently using? Most ISP's allow you to create your own website for free with limited space.

If you are looking for a more professional website with your own domain name, you may want to look at Yahoo or other competitors. they make it very easy to setup your own domain and provide tools so you can create your page with very minimal cost.

Good luck!

You could go get it from http://geocities.yahoo.com or free webs, they have easy site builders, or you could go check this site, http://hayalkarga.com, though it's harder because it's FTP and not file manager unlike the first two stated. They're free because they host it with subdomains, you start paying when you really want to have your own domain.

TC! GOD BLESS!
