Why do people still think opera is about fat people singing? I know a few young opera singers who are definitely not fat!
Don't mind some of the lighter opera's can't do the whole Ring cycle thing though.

I am not a big fan of Opera but I have watched one or two.... some good Shakespearean operas with blood and gore but mostly I feel that the actors are taking ages to get to the point with their long Ooooohhh aaaaaaahs.
As a kid I did like listening to Pavarotti as I thought he was funny. I am weird.... aren't I? (sigh).

I love classical music, I have Classic Fm on at the minute but I like it instrumental. I have to be in the mood for opera. BTW, good joke.
