No, not with the fact that we should have never invaded Iraq in the first place. The real war was in Afghanistan, the Iraqi people do not support the invading army. .

Absolutely. We have build schools, hospitals, roads, basic infrastructure, we have given the Iraqi people a freely elected government and the vast majority of the country is just as happy as they could be. In pre-war Iraq 400 babies a day died just due to lack of basic medical care, because the dictatorship simply took all the nations resources to build palaces and a third rate military. It has been expensive for us, and people can disagree on issues surrounding the war, but America has done what it has always done and sacrificed for freedom.

I do not think that any progress is been done. What I think should be done is that all troops (American's & British) should move out & let the Iraqi's live their lives. Imagine if you had a cerfew to get it,people throwing things at you, vehicle restrictions, people been denied the right to education. Its their land let them live peacefully in it.
What are the American's British going to gain out of it?? THey only thing that I see that they would want is the oil pipes. Why fight & kill innocent people & children for it & treat them inhumainly???
I do not think that there is any progress done in the country. The only time everyone will see progress is once all troops have moved out of the countr & let them rebuild themselves, peacefully.

None. This war started with a pre-emptive attack, on a false premise, and without the support of other members of the Security Council. It was doomed from the start. Now, we are in danger of not being able to secure the country enough to send our oil companies (our main objective). We have, at this point accomplished nothing more than inflating the pockets of defense contractors.

I think the only people we are helping in Iraq are the companies with US Govt military contracts. We are helping them tremndously. The Sunni's, Shiites, and Kurds all hate each other, and have for thousands of years. How are we going to change that?

It depends on who you ask. Bush and his supporters say all is well. Just like when mission was accomplished and we know there are WMD etc. For the rest of the world it is not going very well. It is a civil war and should be left to them to settle not for outside forces.

No. We are expecting our military to fight a war based on international principals of fair play. We do not have the stomach to authorize our military to do the mass slaughtering that it will take to control the area.

The only good we are doing is stopping an all-out civil war from breaking out....something that is inevitable whenever we leave.

Good question.... I would say that we are not doing much good because the Liberals are doing everything they can to destroy any hopes of victory.. B*tch Pelosi and other anti-Ameicans will do anything/everything they can do destroy the war effort
