im 15 and i want to wear them, i live with ny dad, how shouldi tell him that i want to wear things...or should i go shopping with my friends and buy them nd wash them mytself and not let him see them??

I would definitely tell him parents aren't stupid he will find them if you try and hide them or he will catch you wearing them if you are wearing low cut pants and bend over. I would just tell him that you want to wear them. He might just surprise you and let you or if he says no than respect his wishes. You might also get a part time job and tell him you will buy them with your own money he might go for that too. You can get a weekend job. My parents always told me that if I wanted something and they didn't want to buy it for me to get a job lol. Good luck

You should weat thongs under pants that are tight and you don't want people to see your underwear. They shouldn't be thought of as a sexual thing..which is what your father is probably associating them with.
You need not wear them unless you wanna hide the pantyline.
My advice, put on a pair of pants where you can see your pantyline, and show your dad. Just tell him you like the pants and you're embarrassed to wear them..that u think everyone's looking at your bum because of the pantyline..i'm sure he'll let you buy a pair or two then :)

Your underwear are pretty much your business. I would discuss this with your dad; take the approach boxer or briefs. Does it really matter? My daughter started wearing them around 14 and she likes them, personally I feel like they are uncomfortable. I did try them and went back to my "grannie panties" as my daughter refers to them. It is a personal preferance and being open should keep the lines of communication going - hiding things from your dad can start a trend that may end up in problems down the road. Take care.

18, when your of legal age to make your own decisions (vote, register for the draft and able to wear thongs). Your to young and don't need all of the attention thongs attract. If your dad is against the idea, he's smart. You may see it as a violation of your rights. He's doing what any good dad will do, protecting his daughter for unnecessary attention.

Just wear them whenever you feel ready. Alot of my friends have worn them since they were 12, but I think that's terribly young. I personally hate the damn things, they are horrible and really uncomfortable. I prefer the pretty lace panties!

i say just buy your own undergarments. like i feel kinda odd buying underwear with my dad haha. I dont think theres a real age ,its a matter of personal preference. If he sees them , just be like whatever its underwear dad not that big of a deal.

At fifteen you should be making your own undergarment decisions. But why on Earth would you want to wear thongs???
Ask your father....."Dad, I need some new underware. May I have some money please?" Or...."Dad, will you take me shopping for some new underware?"
