Salman, you did not specify the airline you have booked for. Since there are many flights operating to Cochin sector than Calicut, I would suggest you to select for Cochin. Try to travel on the morning/daytime flights departing from Kuwait on Saturdays and Sundays. If you can able to travel before mid June, it would be better time to avoid the overbooking during the summer vacation.

June month is monsoon month.South west monsoon will be on full swing.Particularly Kerals will experience more rain fall.For what purpose you are asking for a day in June.If it is for travel in Kerala means you should get ready to experience a travel in rain.

use a morning flight where the load is less
during the late night flight are usually heavy booked and taking chance as standby will not work at all times especially june is the peak period
standby tkt is based on availability of seat and revenue passenger are given more importance so choose the morning flts check the load a day before and fly off
