Stay and get your work done, you can goof off, too! I'm the only one here at work today, I'm getting time and a half, and I'm playing around on the computer! FUN!

If you truly are not sick, then you should be honest and do the right thing by staying at work and getting things done. Besides, you will probably feel less stressed without him on your back. Take a day off when the boss gets back. Also, if everyone else there is thinking like you, then they will leave and you will be the only one to stay and get your work done. Perhaps the boss will reward you for not taking advantage of the situation when he wasn't around.

Faking sick is never a good idea. If you are found out you could lose your job.
You are better off getting lots of work done without the distractions.

It's not really my choice to tell you, but here's my answer anyways:
You should go to work and take advantage of the moment. You could probably finish much more work if you take this chance. If you stay home 'sick', you'll miss alot of work while you could've finished it in peace. Besides, it's only right that you stay home 'sick' if you really ARE sick.

Get a lot of work done. This way your boss would be more impressed by you and perhaps up your pay or even promote you.

Come on, what a stupid question. Go to work like the adult you're supposed to be and get something done.
