My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years and we have a 1 yr old son. It hasn't been the greatest 2 yrs but they say the first 5 are tough. I really think that a divorce is in the near future. We know that it only cost $30.00 at Staples but how do you decide on who gets what. Everything that we practically own we bought together. Also, I'm not sure if financially it would be better for us to get a divorce or just seperate. Anyone that has been is a situation like this your advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try therapy first, Deal with life, My "ex-ex" and I went through a period where she went off the deep end emotionally, and asked for a divorce, I saw no way of resolving our "issues" as she had made her mind up, We eventually got back together after she came to her senses and we sought out counseling.

Marriage is 95% work and 5 % luck.

Communication is the key. start by taking a date night once per week, without kids. It is important and without it, you "fall apart". The importance of date night in out marriage has made the difference between a tense relationship and a good one.

Divorce is a pain in the butt, I've been down that road. And the "divorce kit" is gear for very simple divorce. If you have children in a divorce the state in which you reside often requires mediation for custody... AND a lawyer. Even a cheap lawyer is going to cost you about $2000 to get the job done, then consider the separation into 2 households and the divorce generally put people in deeper debt (the primary reason for divorce to begin with).

I'm not sure what cost $30 at staples ? You may get documents for a divorce there but that's about it . You will still have to go to court for custody of the kids and when kids are involved there is no 30 dollar divorce

I have been recently divorced. I had a valid reason that being my ex started putting our money in a seperate account for herself which in turn I lost trust in her. I have three children the youngest is 6 the professional advice given to me is that a bad marriage with children is worse than staying together for the sake of the kids. I believe that but it is hard to do. If there are not any serious issues like what happened to me or infidelity or drugs etc than most other problems can probably be worked out. If there are these situation than you most definitely need a lawyer to protect your rights.Good luck......

If it doesn/t work out hit me up and I will take care of ya..
