A powerful number is a positive integer, say m, that has this property: if a prime number p divides m, then the square of p, p^2, will also divide m.
For example, 27 is a powerful number because the prime 3 divides 27, and the square of 3, namely 9, also divides 27.

A powerful number can be written as a^2b^3, where a and b are positive integers.
Lets say p= some prime number
and m= some positive interger
To be a powerful number, if p can be divided by m, p^2 should also be divided by m.
ex) p = 2, m = 8
8/2 =4, 8^2/2 = 32.
32 happens to be a powerful number.

According to the song, one is a powerful number because it only takes one person to change what is happening. There was a play called A Majority of One on the same theme.

I like pi (3.142...) but my favorite is e (2.718...) used as the base of natural logarithms and the ratio of the golden rectangle. This number is a powerful one in nature used in the construction of many natural processes.

The square root of minus one.
It is there and it isn't.
1-2-3 are the only consecutive prime numbers and two is the only even prime.

I agree with Mike1942 - one is a very powerful number.
Zero is also a very powerful number, as it can annihilate anything. Yet it can also drive results to infinity.
