Insanity...
True insanity is the only explanation.
Do you think he can stay off the illegal pain killers long enough to see who the winner will be?

He could be makeing the whole thing up:
"The names of the nominees are never publicly announced, and neither are they told that they have been considered for the Prize. Nomination records are sealed for fifty years. In practice some nominees do become known. It is also common for publicists to make such a claim, founded or not."

provided that he replaced into nominated via a conservative radio communicate instruct host i don't think of it bears too a lot advantage. notwithstanding, if he did win, congratulations to him. that's too undesirable that if it really is the case it may likely render the Nobel Peace Prize irrelevant.

From your link:
According to the Military Entrance Processing Command, a pilonidal cyst was then and is today a so-called "disqualifying condition" for induction. It's a congenital incomplete closure of the neural groove at the base of the spinal cord in which excess tissue and hair may collect and cause discomfort and discharge. The malady can be corrected by surgery, but short of that it is viewed by the military as a needless risk amid unsanitary conditions in the field.
The lottery issue is largely irrelevant since Limbaugh's 1-Y classification precluded his being drafted no matter how high or low his birthdate came up in the lottery. In the event, Limbaugh's birth date was selected 152nd in the 1970 draft lottery, and since the highest lottery number ultimately called for this group was 125, he wouldn't have been drafted in 1971 no matter what his classification.
The "chicken-hawk" tag does not seem to fit after reviewing the facts. I hope Rush wins, but don't expect the liberal panel to consider him.

M. Gandhi didn't make it and the world still wonders why. With R. Limbaugh no one will wonder except his "loyal radio listeners".
The Rush link you provided should be use it as a disclaimer on all his published works.

Wow, you people sure hate without knowing anything. Why was Rush's his deferment different than anyone elses? Bill Clinton just plain ran away yet he seemed suitable to be Commander-in-Chief to you.
To once again educate the knee-jerk liberal crowd, Rush Limbaugh's nomination for the Nobel Peace prize is serious. He was nominated by the Landmark Legal Foundation which is an organization founded by Mark Levin.

Mark Levin, the radio host, nominated him.
Rush's tremendous contribution to peace has been/is that he relentlessly educates people about capitalism, which is the most liberating and prosperity-producing economic philosophy/system since the march of time began...
Rush provides a juggernaut of charisma, wisdom, enthusiasm, determination, humor, and eloquence to the fight against the two primary reasons that wars plague mankind: Poverty and oppression.
Socialism, Marxism, and Islam are the most enslaving and conflict-causing systems in the world, and Rush is their sworn and unwavering foe. He is the champion of free-market federalism, which always fosters peaceful enterprise as a solution to problems. Therefore, Rush richly deserves the Nobel peace prize.

I don't believe he's been nominated. The nominations are supposed to be a secret, and anyone can SAY they've been nominated.

YES!
Rush has single-handedly relegated American conservatism to cult-like evil status the world over.
Thus marginalizing their clout and belligerence and making the world a more peaceful place (in the future).
All thanks to Rush.
