My most regrettable question was also my most rewarding question. I had just returned from a funeral at Arlington Cemetery. I posted a question in regard to my feelings while walking past soooo many gravesites of fallen warriors. I asked a simple question re: being aware of our many blessings....and here is the killer....."Freedom is really NOT free.....these men and women GAVE us this right, with their lives." Several self-proclaimed Liberals jumped all over me. I emailed one of those people. I was sad, exhausted and hurt by his rantings re: me. I used polite language and was not aggressive. He wrote back and apologized. That really touched me.
Several people have gotten very angry with me.....a few have apologized.....one young man will NEVER know the chaos he caused. I related what he had said to me to some people I had just met. By the time I finally had to get up and excuse myself from their company, the man was just as rude as the Yahooer had been. His wife was so mad at him for scaring me off. He was so mad at ME and I wished I'd never opened my mouth!! When I got back home and on YA again, lo and behold!!! The kid had apologized!!! ALL this junk over one little 15 year old with a mouth bigger than his brain! haha

I just don't see how someone would 'regret' asking a question. They're just questions after all, and personally I ask more to see people's reactions rather than to find actual answers, usually.

I regret asking the one about whether Flower the skunk from the movie Bambi was gay. It was kind of a shallow, tacky question, and I kind of got slapped down for it. Deservedly so.

Oh, gheesh. It was about racial preferences. And it was kinda rhetorical or rather, uh... inferring, not necessarily meant to be taken so serious. The answers did help, though.

The FAVORITE QUESTION? Uh.. that's CERTAINLY not the same one. My favorite was... um... hmmm....

Nobody really really got it except maybe 1 person. It was:

"My husband bought me a KFC bowl last Saturday. Am I pregnant?"

That was the best.
