Does pulling out of Iraq make America look weak or did they already look weak by being the big power attacking

Maybe if they attacked China it would make them look weak but Iraq?

America did not look weak by attacking Iraq.

It looked Stupid and Idiotic because Iraq had nothing to do with 911 and they were not any kind of threat to the United States at the time!

This is a very strange question. America and in fact all other countries in the entire world, choose their battles according to their own best national interest. If simply destroying other countries were our goal we could have done that many times.

We have been at war with radical Islam since Iran took our embassy people hostage during the Carter administration. We chose to ignore this disease known as international terrorism for decades. We finally realized that we are at war after the attack on 9/11. The only reason it ended up in Iraq right now is Saddam overplayed his hand. He would still be in power if he had cooperated with the UN inspectors. He liked making everyone believe he had horrible weapons. After 9/11 we could not take the chance that he did and might provide the technology to terrorists. Since we were still at war with Iraq since Dessert Storm, we took the opportunity to take out his perceived threat.

The terror supporting countries in the region realize the threat to them that a Free Iraq would pose, have been supporting the insurgency with money and sophisticated weapons. The disease of fundamentalist Islam tyranny cannot abide the cure that liberty brings to the long suffering people of the Middle East.

It does not make America weak. Let's not forget, 66% of the American people feel that Bush does not hold the same values as they do. More and more people are making the distinction between a war and an invasion which is what this country got themselves into. Fighting to protect yourself is not weak no matter the size of the ememy. If a country shows a willingness to go anywhere and do anything to honestly protect themselves and its allys, that is a sign of strength. The liberals cannot seem to grasp that theory. Pulling out in the middle of a fight is retreat no matter what words the liberals use to describe it. That is an even more outward indication of weakness. If you go in to kick butt, you better stay around until butt is indeed well kicked or the enemy will know your weakness and use that against you. Another thing the liberals fail to comprehend.
