When picking a car, lawyer, dentist, school, what gives you assurance they will be good?
Another assignment question - this one about how assurance somehow maes people think you are doing a good job.

For cars, I go to some mechanics I know and ask them what they see a lot of. Then I go out and buy something else, if it's an option.
For the rest, I consider that if reputable, none of the above need to advertise.
As for assurance, I am fairly secure, I usually don't need to be told I am doing well if I know that I am.

Hands down: REFERRALS!
Ranking means squat. They often come from the wrong perspective.

Hmm. Thought provoking. We like praise! People thrive on praise. Most do. Others never stop working to be better. Slackers though, rest in a comfort zone too often.

The person I get the referral from. Always go to friends or family they tell the good and the bad!

a good referral is nice, but sometimes just a gut impression aint bad either!!
