Do both horses show up when you fast travel? Is there an advantage to owning two (or more) horses?

Usually, when you own more than one horse the one you last rode will be the one that fast travels with you. The others SHOULD return to the stable you bought them from, but they often don't in my experience!

Shadowmere, the horse you get in one part of the Dark Brotherhood quests, should return to Fort Farrgut as a rule, but if you have the Horse Armor plugin, and put armour on her, it breaks her AI and she doesn't go where she should. Don't put armour on her!

The only advantage is that you have a selection of horses to choose from. Since I never fast travel, and avoid using horses most of the time, I like to have a horse at each stable so I know there is one close by should I wish to ride and get to other places fast. :)

im not sure why'd you want to. honestly i don't have even one horse as i found they were a ***** to ride. but i do know that the black horse is the fastest so i'd probalby just stick with that one.

not that this answers you questions, but i heard you could also have bags and stuff that you could you on your horse, but i never was able to figure that one out.
