I'm learning about chemical bonding for an A level in biology - as I'm doing this distance I'm finding it difficult to know who to ask.
The question was to draw how Calcium connects to water...
So I did Oxygen in the centre connected with 4 Hydrogen connected round the outside (the other 2 oxygen in the inner ring). I could have this all completely wrong but if anyone can explain and easy way I can work out how they would be connected I would really appreciate it! :-) I then need to add calcium in there somewhere???

Are you asking how calcium metal reacts with water? Or how calcium ions bind with water in a solution?

If the first, the calcium (and other reactive metals) will react with water to produce calcium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. The reaction is a reduction-oxidation reaction, and the metal is oxidized to its ion, and hydrogen ions are reduced to H2 gas:

Ca(s) + 2 H2O --> H2(g) + Ca2+(aq) + 2 OH-(aq)

In the second case, calcium ions in solution are surrounded by 6 water molecules. The water molecules are oriented so that their oxygen atoms are at the corners of a regular octahedron around the calcium ion.

Calcium forms a positive ion.

Therefore in water, the calcium is attracted to the oxygen of the water molecule (which is the negatively charged end of the polar molecule).

i.e. you draw a calcium ion in the middle surrounded by water molecules with the oxygen pointing at the calcium ion, and then you draw in the charges and join them with a dashed line to show the dipole-ionic bonds.

actually i am in class 8 but still i will try to answer from my experience
calcium = ca
while, water = h2o
i think oxygen and calcium are linked together and the rest are hydrogen
but i know this anwer is not correct still,
