You don't, using the do it yourself air conditioning kits can lead to the overall distruction of the air conditioning system. The mixture of the chemicals can make the refridgerant explosive. After a system has been charged from a kit and not the proper way, the system can never be flushed out as it will contaminate the "E-Vac" machine and then any other vehicle that it is used on will become comtaminated. It is better to take the vheicle to a dealer or air conditioning repair shop and have them preform the "top up". The air conditioning system in air tight, so if it is low (you can't tell by looking at any levels, you have to hook it up to the machine) there is a leak, that will need to be repaired first.

First, what makes you think it needs " topped off "? The air condition system's on vehicles in a sealed system. If it has lost freon there's a leak. You need to take it to someone that is certified to work on the unit, because there are laws now about the freon and our atmosphere.

Ask your dealer, especially if this is a new Zafira. I drive one and would not attempt that type of thing on my own, it is checked I think as part of the annual service anyway.

hi does it have the snow flake image on the heater controls if so and it fairly works it is going to easily be a cold draft. it isn't genuine aircon only a cold flow of air. if it has the snow flake then you really would favor to visit a showroom for an evidence as to easily how ir works. it will be it has a fault and needs interest.

vauxhall's dealers... or cheaper look in yellow pages for local garages and compare prices.. about 60 quid, but may cost more if they need to replace seals.. as thats why you lost the gas in the first place
