It depends. There is a fish called a Cod. It can mean catch of the day, in a fish shop, but otherwise it means cash on delivery.

"Cash On Delivery". Meaning you have to pay for your item as soon as it delivered to you. There will be no bill sent later. If you want the item, you must have cash up front.
It can also mean "Catch Of the Day". This would be one particular fish on special at a restaurant. For example, Grouper may be the "Catch Of the Day" on Monday but Tilapia would be the "Catch Of the Day" on Tuesday. Other types of fish may be available on the menu but they would not be the special or 'Catch Of the Day".
