There are a couple that I really like.
The obvious one being Peyton, Harrison, Wayne. There is no one that played as well as they do together in the last few years.
Also, Palmer, Chad, and TJ are good. Chad and TJ can do it all, long balls and jump up for high balls over CBs. How great would they have been if Palmer hadn't injured his knee?
In the future the trio of Leinhart, Boldin, and Fitzgerald. Leinhart set a couple of rookie passing records didn't he? It will be nice to see that high powered offense working. To bad the cardinals defense is horrendous.
It will be interesting to see what the Broncos do with their QB situation. If they get a guy in there that can throw, he will have to great sets of hands to throw at in Javon Walker and Rod Smith.

I don't like the Colts but if I had to go with a group right now it would be Manning, Harrison, and Wayne. IF this was a building type thing then I would go with Palmer, TJ, and Chad Johnson.

Its hard to go against the defending champions but I'm gonna take the youth and hope for a better future. That being said, I'll hate Leinart, Boldin, and Fitzgerald. This trio will do some special things in the future if they stick together.
Other noteable mentions:
Colts - Manning, Harrison, Wayne
Bengals - Palmer, Johnson, Houshmandzadeh
Rams(!) - Bulger, Holt, Bruce

Past - Dolphins
QB - Marino
WR1 - Clayton
WR 2 - Duper
Present - Colts
QB - P. Manning
WR1 - Wayne
WR 2 - Harrison
Future - too difficult to predict, but as long as he's throwing to Johnson, I refuse to take Palmer in a question like this, regardless of how much I like the QB

no doubt in my mind it is the bengal boys for the long run. they would be a great choice now as well, but i agree that there is no trio as talented as manning, harrison, and wayne. the only problem is that harrison is old as hell and manning is getting up there. so if it is pure talent, the choice has to be manning, harrison, and wayne. but if you are choosing 3 for a team, i think it has to be johnson, housh, and palmer, as they have many more years than the colts boys. not too mention they are off the chain!

Right now you have to go with Manning, Harrison, and Wayne. In the next couple of years you I would take Palmer, Johnson and Houzmandez, but even further down the line you need to look at Linehart, Fitzgerald, and Boldin in Arizona after they get adjusted to the new offense look for them to do some serious damage to defenses.

I have to agree with you 100%. Even though that group in Indi. won the Super Bowl I still think the Q.B./reciever combo in Cinci. is better if I were building a team.
My Fav. tandem of all time was in the 80s, Dan Marino throwing the ball to Mark Duper and Mark Clayton.

I think for the future, you are right. But right now, it is impossible to go against Peyton, Marvin, and Reggie. They are the super bowl champions, and it will be about 5 years before Carson, Chad, and TJ surpass them.
