i have a t180 it came with vista on it i uninstalled it & put xp on now i can't get on the net i have a rounter & i have the acer in slot 1 & the light pos to be on when a ethernet plug/comp. is pluged in i checked the cord & everything my laptop & old comp is working on the rounter i had this prob on a diff. comp befor & i had to download some kinda drivers but i forgot what i downloaded can someone please help thx......

You installed a generic version of XP, instead of the Acer version. Your motherboard drivers, including the NIC driver, are missing.
Go to another computer and go to the Acer web site and download all drivers for your PC and copy to CD. Then, install on the Acer and Re-Boot.
