Is it just a means to an end for them? Are they just going along with it because they are Marxists who dislike the USA's superpower status and want to eliminate US hegemony?

What conspiracy????? Are you people crazy? You cannot dump the amount of toxins that go into the atmosphere, earth and water and not have effects from it. What harm is there in living and protecting the planet you live on? Omg, it might actually clean up the air a little and we could never have that. Damn liberal plot it is....cleaner air and water, taking away your smog. Uno, America stayed clean for many thousands of years with the Indians and their respect for the land and living things. Then people moved in and did more damage to this nation with their industry, cars and fuel fires in 100 years than the rest of time combined. Each and every thing we do has an effect. Sorry, this is the only earth we have and I want to do my part to help take care of it. You must be really smart to know more than hundreds of scientists that have researched this for 20 years or more. How many Ph.D.s do you have to reject scientific knowledge as bull? Each toxin you release into the air, earth or water has an adverse effect on the planet. Do some actual research....chart the temps for last 20 years.....count the number of hurricanes and tornados in comparison to years ago. You might learn something.....oh, sorry....i forgot..... you and George know it all already.

You really can't argue anymore that global warming isn't real, so that isn't the issue. Most of the scientific community says it is real, so that the end of that. However, we can not just switch to everything "green" at the flick of a switch. Everyone can not go out and afford a hybrid vehicle or stop using things that may have adverse effects on the environment. So what is the solution then. The solution is to slowly reduce the amount of bad things we do to the environment and slowly increase good things we do for the environment such as increase production of hybrid vehicles and reducing use of oil and coal for wind power and alterative fuels. If we were to go "green" all of a sudden out of nowhere today, our economy as we know it would collaspe, and thats a fact my friends. Poor people can not afford hybrid cars, hell, I cant really afford a hybrid car, and Im middle middle class! The oil companies need to keep selling oil. As evil and corrupt as the oil companies are, they do do one thing good, and that is provide jobs for people. Now I know what the tree huggers are going to say. "If we don't act now then we will all die in 5 or 10 years!". That may be, but the fact of the matter is if we do everything that the tree huggers want today, then we would all die in 5 or 10 years anyways. Our economy would collaspe and it would be the great depression all over again. Worse then the great depression actually. We need to take the middle ground on this point people. On one hand, we can not change overnight, but at the same time we still in to move towards clean air and water. So the libs and conserves are both wrong, period! Let admit that global warming is real, that way we can start the process of moving towards stopping it in the future!

I think there is an entire group of people in our country that are ashamed and feel bad that we have so much. This is their way of trying to make up for it. I work hard, I contribute, so I am entitled to all I can get.

Once again, the old liberal trick, call names, make fun of, insult, when someone does not agree with their bad ideas then that person is stupid, under a rock, an idiot. Prove me wrong, ops, just read the attacks you have gotten already.

A few years ago we were headed for the next ice age, today its global warming, what will it be in 10 years. And if the liberal like Al Gore would take it serious then I would. But he has several mansions, and flys in private jets, come on now.

A Military Colonel one told me, I don't mind folks preaching turn the other cheek, but just keep your hands off my face.

Libs might but the socialists/communists know for a fact it is all an ATTACK on CAPITALISM.

All of the leaders of the greens admit that is the point, gore is in it for the money, the socialists in congress see it as a way to gain more control.

Even Bush has had to concede, the scientific evidence is in, global warming is happening. Really the only debate is how much of it is the normal cycles of the earth and how much of it is man made. Personally I think it is the normal cycles of warming and cooling of the earth. Now could the actions of man be accelerating or enhancing these cycles? Sure.

Well, let's see....part of the Icelandic shelf breaks off and falls into the sea, the bodies of drowned polar bears are being found in the sea (and when's the last time you ever heard of a polar bear drowning?), the Artic ice pack is shown in satellite imaging to be shrinking, temperatures in the US and the rest of the world are setting records both high and low, and it SNOWS IN GEORGIA on Easter Sunday.

"Dumb enough to believe in global warming," you say....I'd say that anyone who DOESN'T believe in global warming is the dumb one.

No, most liberals are simply people who have been conditioned to believe the crisis du jour from those who really do have a Marxist agenda. It isn't that they are stupid or evil they have been indoctrinated in school, on TV, in movies and by their fellow believers.

Attached is an interesting article from Newsweek. But is will be lost in the noise. The true believers are no longer listening to anyone else. To deny global warming is blasphemy.

There is nothing objective about their dogma. They have bought it hook line and sinker. All we can do is try to limit the damage the misled do to our economy.

By the way. Have you ever actually read anything related to climate change? Blogs on Rush's web site don't count.
