Depends, i think they are both too big to generalise about. (Great Britain is the third biggest island in the world).
I joke about British weather but at least we don't have hurricanes. Nowhere in the UK is called "Death Valley" :-)
You could probably sleep outdoors in the English countryside on all but a few days of the year, and we don't have anything fiercer than a badger.
You are never more than 70 miles from the sea.
We have a low murder rate but a high crime rate. Our policemen don't carry guns.
We have a National health service but no dentists (now thats a cliche that happens to be true!)
We aren't as fat as Americans but our livers are knackered!
Our beer tastes of beer. American beer has rice in it (and allegedly Mexican wee!!!)
Our cars look like matchbox toys- actually we don't make cars any more. Petrol is $8 dollars a gallon.
Of course the biggest downside is we are only 26 miles from France.
I've never been to America but i would love to go.

Seeing as I have never been to the UK but have always wanted to and have lived my whole life in the USA which I love, I am not going to even judge that! Both are good. Both are bad.

Well, my girlfriend lives in the UK so it's definitely the place with beautiful women. But, she is thinking of moving here so we will be the place to be someday...
I like the U.S. there is so much to see and do here, and like us or not we are a big factor in the whole world.

and if you asking about movies: USA better but the UK actors are better than the USA...
ok for the people i do not know but i think USA is more multicolored so you will find someone for your type..

I say Holland 'cause they're a lot of 'grass'. Anyway I'd like to go on U.S 'cause is much bigger to UK. I'd choose many different places to live. For example Frisco or NY or Philly or Miami etc. etc. London is OK but either cities are too much industrially for me.

Neither is better than the other, the countries are just different. Because that's how it's supposed to be. Everything is not supposed to be the same. Variety makes life interesting.
