How can it be that part of the US thinks we are there to keep out Iran and Syria (and terrorists), and police Iraq, and part of the US thinks we are there "liberating them from their mortal coil?" Both cannot be true.
And how can the Liberals think we should go do the same thing in Darfur? Or do they not expect the same treatment from the radical Muslims doing the killing there?
I don't get it.

Liberals are all about the hypothetical, easy, fashionable causes. Tibet has a cachet. East Timor has an exotic ring to it. Darfur is 100% black, so they can be very "PC".
Liberals are like the character George Costanza on "Seinfeld". George liked to talk about being an architect, but didn't have the drive, interest, or talent to actually become one; he just liked pretending. That's how Liberals are. They conceive of these easy fights that will show how noble and selfless they are. But once the body count begins, they run for cover.

You are right on. If Bush tried to liberate Darfur, East Timor or Tibet the liberals would do nothing but criticize and attempt to 'crucify' him again.
Pelosi is Speaker of the House and can bring whatever she wants to Congress. If she cares to tackle this issue let her put her own head on the chopping block.
There is nothing positive about her leadership, nor Hillarys nor Obamas.

Anyone " liberated " by Bush deserves better. I would perfer being " liberated" by Tony Soprano.
