I just watched the news and there is a Iraqi protest going on right now over the anniversary of Saddam's capture. The Shiites are protesting the diplomacy process and the conditions over there. The third infantry is being deployed all of them, to the inner city of Baghdad to secure the violence.

Let me set you straight. The original military action in Iraq went swimmingly. What happened after that was something no one, not even the smartest people on earth (Hillary & Pelosi) could have forseen. We were faced with an insurgency like none other in the history of the world.

Now let me set you straight. Secretary of state Colin Powell, the army chief of staff and almost every general on the joint chief of staff said that the pre invasion plan was flawed and that many additional troups would be needed. Most of these leaders are gone though various tatics used by Donald Rumsfeld or the white house to discredit them. Now that we are bogged down in an unwinnable situation don't try to say that no one saw it coming and accept the fact that the adminastration planed and runs and failed policy.

Let me set you straight. The original military action in Iraq went swimmingly. What happened after that was something no one, not even the smartest people on earth (Hillary & Pelosi) could have forseen. We were faced with an insurgency like none other in the history of the world.

After every military victory there are insurgents who try to keep on resisting. That, of course was expected. But what we faced in Iraq was an insurgency willing to kill its own fellow countrymen, women and children to try to drive us out. That has never happened before.

The insurgency has killed countless Iraqis. Women shopping for food, children going to school, policemen, doctors in hospitals you name it. When has anyone ever seen such an insurgency?

They are also not interested in a tactical victory. In fact, from a tactical perspective they are totally ineffectual. For instance they will blow up a single vehicle in a convoy of five hundred vehicles. Such an attack has only one effect; to created casualties for us so people back here will loose there nerve and quit. That is their overall strategic plan direct from OBL himself. Don't try to beat us just outlast us.

Far too many liberal Americans are falling for this and doing bidding of the terrorists. The democrats in congress, seeing an political opportunity are all too willing to cooperate.

If the democrats in congress, who nearly unanimously agreed to enter this war has stuck behind the effort in every word and deed the insurgency would have given up by now. You have to be an idiot to think the constant attacks against the president do not encourage our enemies.

I know many Iraqis, they all think America had the right idea but even though a lot more people died than expected, they should stay there and finish up. In their opinion, Saddam had to go. Who are we to say we're doing a bad thing?
