If they are not in America or do not know any Americans, how do they form their negative opinions?

Most of it is jealousy as far as I can see we have more freedoms than most nations more work than most nations a bigger and better military than all nations and millions of people want to relocate here every year.As far as foriegn policy it may not be the best but all these nations that dont like our policies have much worse policy toward us.We are a Super power and the weak allways put down the strong and speaking personally and for most people I know who cares who likes us and who doesnt.

OK im from canada and have been all over the us. And to be honest I was standing in a store in nc and the guy asked me where im from....I then said "Canada" and he said
"kool, so do you speak Canadian?"
I looked at him and said... "English?.....yes.(sigh)
And I was shocked....because he was DEAD serious!
Some Americans are cool, and others... well they just arent., and the same goes for canada, but on another note im sure as SH@$ you wouldnt catch a Canadian asking an American if they spoke
american.

We invade countries and throw out "illegal aliens" no matter how long they've worked here, paid taxes and raised children.
So the world sees how we treat everyone that's not "american" and make their opinion.
One day it might backfire, what if we needed other nations at some point? But of course, we are the all knowing superpower. Why be sympathetic to anyone except our own pathetic problems, like what 42 in plasma is the best model.
It will bite us in the ***. It's happened to Rome, and they were as pompous and arrogant as we are.

Unfortunately, during the current administration the USA's government hasn't done very well with foreign relations outside of Great Britain & Israel.

Most foreigners develop opinions of America from t.v., which is totally f*cking stupid. The good thing is, we hate them just as much as they hate us. Our opinions of them are more accurate, because we've been face to face with them. They keep moving over here in droves.
