Because I do. And I'm white. Can you follow my reasoning? The poster who gives the best explanation of where I'm coming from gets my 10 points.

Here's a clue. Are you white? When you hear something like "Stupid White Men", do you feel humiliated, angry and insulted? No? Well, take it from there.

I've just discovrered the world of the action bar. DIdn't know it was there. Lemme just make one thing perfectly clear.

This has not got anything to do with blacks, or race issues. I'm just asking you to go thru the thought experiment. Try it with these scenarios.
1. Black man says black men are stupid. How does everybody feel?
2. Black man says black men are very bright. Ditto question.
3. White man says white men are very bright. Ditto question.
4. White man says white men are stupid.

(Note there has been no across races comments here)
Now, of those 4 scenarios, how do you feel about them and why. And how do you judge other people feel about them and why.

Sorry about that chief. I ended up posting 2 long "extra detail" pieces by mistake, and now I'm doing another one to explain that boo boo. Which is mainly becoz you can't delete these "extra details".

Actually, that's a lie. I did it twice becoz over here that's called revision. I knew y'all wouldn't read it properly the first time. So now I want you to read it properly the second time. And I'll be asking questions when this is over, you can be sure about that. If fact, I just might set it as an assignment over the holidays. Give you something to work on. No, no more hints. No more clues. You have to nut it out by yourself.

Not particularly impressed by what's there so far. Won't award 10 points if it doesn't get any better. Simply won't. Can't make me. WIll post Yahoo Big Brass and tell them not to let any 10 points go out. Standards to be maintained. Too much self-indulgence. not enough of the old get up and get at em. Was different in my day. Didn't just hold hand out and

But for some the old adage "The truth always hurts' may hold some meaning ... but I agree, stupid white men probably would not get the insult.

Because "stupid white men" could not have enslaved the blacks for years and caused division among them. It's like,"stupid white men? Like whom are u kidding". I dun know...hopefully my answer didnt come across as being racist.
A white man would never feel insulted if he was to be called a "stupid white man".....whereas it's considered wrong to call blacks "stupid black men" because of what happened with slavery and its aftermath.
1)They call him a "self-hating black".
2)Tat i dun know
3)Think he's racist
4)It's acceptable for a white man to say that white men are stupid.

Michael Moore as a whole is just insulting. From his looks, down to his thoughts. He's one person who really needs to get off his fat @$$ and take himself to the gym. He makes a living out of being controversial. If Rosie wasn't gay, I would say they would make a perfect couple!

I don't think you've gotten through to them dude. Try typing slower. Maybe that would help.
Personally, I'm a little confused as well. Could you give details re Moore's statement?
