Err... I downloaded the full installer for DirectX9 (DX9 for short.) and when I installed it, it says "Required file(s) not found" what should I do?! The OS im using is Windows ME.

You could try re-downloading the installer.

But for the love of god...please get rid of Millenium Edition...it has to be the crappiest OS i have ever used!

DX9.c should (?) be compatible with Me and XP - DX10 will run only on Vista, from what I heard

probably some windows files or drivers are missing... update your graphic card drivers an try again - if it does not work try repairing the windows installation

I had this problem a lot on my Win98 PC (back when I was still caring to update it) and this helped

It's time you upgraded to XP. ME is dead and most modern utilities, like DX9, won't run on older versions of Windows.
