OK...Yes I'm a complete idiot! I've had my taxes done for about a month and a half. I just saw that commercial on tv that reminds you that taxes are due in a week. I went to sign them and now I can't find them anywhere! My fiance and I have looked everywhere and they nowhere to be found. I did them using tubotax and can surely reprint them but what do I do about my W2? I will be getting a refund so I don't owe anything.
I'll keep feverishly looking but I'm praying they didn't somehow get thrown out.
I just need to know what I do next if I can't locate them before the deadline.

Just e-file them through Turbo Tax. You won't need the W-2s. If you insist on mailing in a paper return you'll have to go back to your employer(s) and get duplicate copies of your W-2s.

are you sure you didn't already mail them?? are you sure you're sure??
Print them again,, you should have copies of your W-2,, you get more than one,,
if you don't have any copies of your W-2, see if you can get another from your employer. Some companies have a internet web site that allows you to access and print out information like that,, or you may just have to ask at work for another copy.
If you can,, if at all possible,, get all this done by the 17th,, if you fail to do that,, file for an extension using form 4868...
