Is it okay for a girl to ask a guy out, or would that be a turn off to the guy?

It's absolutely ok. I don't understand why it would be a turn off for a guy, which it is for some guys. I think it's great if a girl has the balls to do it. It means she's willing to put herself out on the line. Not only that, but if she's asking you out, it means she's into you. That takes all the guess work out of it, it makes everything more relaxed. You do have to watch out for some guys though, they think it means you're easy.

Sure why not, why should people have to stick to the old cliche. I don't see why i guy would find it a turn off it may even ease the anxiety of having to ask first.

Nah, I don't think so. I know its traditional and the guy's part to be aggressive. But I'm a pretty shy guy and if a girl asked me out...I don't think I'd be too bother'd with it.

From a guy's perspective, I would love it if a girl asked me out. Maybe not in front of my guy-friends though. But still, yeah! (I'm shy.) x3

depends on the guy...the guy may like straight forward bold girls and he just might not like to be approached this blatantly by a girl.U need to know what category he falls to.good luck:)
