I purchased 3 HP Laptops and as such received 3 Windows Vista Home Premium Express Upgrades. Want to upgrade 2 of the HP laptops to Vista. Can I use one of the Express Upgrades on a Dell with XP Pro as the current operating system? According to the Vista Upgrade Advisor my Dell can be upgraded, however, not sure if I can just use the Express upgrade I received from HP. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks so much.

No, the Vista disks contain "OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) versions that only work on a particular make and model.

If you want Vista on the Dell, order it from them.

HP may be the fast one among those 3 with 2GHz chip! DELL with XP-expert could provide you the main working equipment, and with XP, the working equipment provides swifter the Vista in HP. ACER has much less RAM, yet extra effective exhibit! i will %. DELL for swifter equipment! i will %. ACER for extra effective exhibit and value! in case you're questioning approximately upgrading the RAM to 2G with above 2, then %. HP!
