i don't think the army is "safe" for anyone. they are training you to kill and will put you in a situation where you could be killed. but there is no safe job, you could get shot working cash at a pizza place. you would think being behind a desk is a safe job, until some terrorist decides to fly a plane into your office. however i'm sure the army is an excellent career.

No career is safe. there are always risks involved. But if u like living life on the edge with the adrenaline rush then army's for u. I'm for an army family myself.

A lot of it depends what career field you get into. Most military installations have signs as you drive off base " You are about to enter the most dangerous place on earth - the public highway - fasten your seatbelts ". Not in any way to trivialize the losses in Iraq, we have lost more to flu or medical mistakes in the hospitals than we have in Iraq.

Jobs in army are for rough & tough and demand lot of physical strength. It is good for men as they are tough but for girls .......... I don't think its appropriate unless the girl is having curves like men (muscles) than curves like malika sherawat or ash (i think you can understand what i mean)
