If you mean the cat going outside, the cat should NOT be let out until the wound has fully healed to prevent infectcion!!

I assume you mean stitches from her spay?

Stitches are taken out 14 days after the operation. It is advisable to keep the cat inside until then, as it will prevent the wound getting dirty/infected, and stop her running around too much which can pull on the stitches and cause a hernia.

Please be patient and keep her in until the stitches are out - developing an op-site hernia means another operation = another anaesthetic for her and more expense for you!

Well...as far as feral cats are concerned, the males can be released after 24 hrs. but the females can't be released for 3 days.
