I want to get two small paw prints (about the size of nickels) somewhere where I can hide it when I need to but also show it off when I want. I was thinking about the nape of my neck but on one side instead of having it dead center or on the curve area where the neck meets the shoulder/back but I'm not too sure about those places. Where would be the best place to have something like this?

I have a tattoo in the middle of my upper back near my neck, and I like it there for a couple of reasons- I have long hair, so even during the summer, I can keep it covered if I want or need to (grandparents and stuff) or I can wear my hair up to show it. It is low enough to be covered by a regular t-shirt, which is also convenient. I've had the tattoo for several years, and I think that I forgot about it after like, 2 months.
I also have one on my hip, which makes it kinda hard to find a bathing suit that either shows the whole thing or covers it completely.

First let me respond to some of the ignorant people who say tattoos give you skin cancer and are poisonous. They are not. They will NOT give you cancer. If tattoos were poisonous, more than 75% of the population of earth would be infected and dead! Some people should look up facts instead of making up their own.
Second, neck is a cute place for a tattoo. You can cover it up with your hair or a turtle neck when needed, but show it off easily just by having a pony tail.

I had mine put on my hip. This way, it is discreetly covered up when I am wearing professional clothes for serious times, but I can show it off when I wear a bathing suit or low-cut jeans.
It's also a nice fatty place that doesn't hurt too much to have a tattoo put there.

If you are that unsure then wait. Each of my tattoos have been something that I knew exactly what and where I wanted - no doubts at all. You and no one else will be the one living with it for the rest of your life.

Well, If you are girl I would advise you to do it on your groin. It is very sexy lol.
If you are boy I guess on your back or your Arm would be better.

I would have to say don't get a tattoo. They give you skin cancer and can poison your skin dangerously. Plus when you get older and are attending a formal event or something like that, you might regret it?
