We are also known for righteous indignation, but few of us can show that in a good way. Most of us show the list above.

Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is necessarily following Christ. Jesus said people will recognize His disciples by their love--more specifically, His love in their lives. And if His love isn't apparent in their lives, then I'd have to say they aren't really Christians, because they probably aren't really following Christ.
I totally understand where you're coming from--I'm giving my life to full-time ministry, and it really irks me to see this kind of hypocrisy among people who call themselves Christians. Check out the first link below for a blog entry I posted just a few days ago about exactly the sort of people you're talking about.

Organised religion is the cause of most of the worlds misery.
* All Wars
* The Holocaust
* Famines
* Child abuse
The idea of "humility" etc... is just a way of making people think they are part of something better - a way of making them not question what's REALLY happening.

it depends some weird christians are like that a really judgemental quick to judge and think their church is the only one, and the one thats is right, but catholic christians are not like that In all true honesty there is no one in this world that is divine and free of sin everyone has sin once in their life and we must make the best of our lives to be good and not sin again and if we do its ok as long as you try not to do it again a repend.

Not in amerikkka...it's all about p-o-w-e-r...and that's why they impose their culture on others through missionary work...and if that doesn't work...then they bring in their military.
I'm reminded of a quote from Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa: "When we started praying with the Europeans they were holding the Bibles and we were holding the land.....but when we opened our eyes, they were holding the land and we were holding the Bibles."

living a fanstasy seldom will lead to leadership in the real world but usually it only lends itself to confusion . For instance when the chrisitan doesn't see eye to eye they condemn the
opposing view to hell damnation... cruel and unusually overstated punishment is a far cry from honor. Even the christian concept of a jealous god is a god full of sin . jealousy is considered one of the deadly sins in other prior religions . why worship a sinful god and expect honor?

As christian, we are not imposing someone to follow this and follow that but we are only reminding of what is supposed to be done, what is supposed to believe. But if you go on insisting on what you want to believe, its your own choice.
You have your own will to select what you want. Your own choice.
We remind our fellow mankind because we care as God said.

As the bumper sticker says, Not perfect, just forgiven.
Some people take that as an excuse to behave badly.
