Christianity, Judaism, and Islam seem to have a lot in common....for example all 3 religions recognize a man named "Adam" to be the first man created by "God" and that he is a prophet. All 3 of these religions originated in the same geographic region...

Personally I am none of these religions, I think fundamental religion is pretty lame...although I respect people that are true to their religion, have their own personal relationships with god, and don't preach their views on everyone and try to convert people....but I want to hear from people why these 3 religions, which have a lot in common, are torn by such hatred for each other?

I want intelligent answers please...

As far as I know there is no hatred between the Christian and the Jew. They just disagree on whether Jesus was the Messiah. They both believe the writings of the Old Testament or Torah (same thing) are the inspired word of God.
The Muslims also start with the Old Testament. Most Muslims don't hate either Jews or Christians. It's only the extremists who follow the more irrational ideas that hate everyone except Muslims.

Because in order to be recognized (Show Itself.). Perfection must break into pieces and be confused and then be put back together. Tis the ways and purpose of God, otherwise God would be too great for us to ever know. How does The Infinite show itself to the finite(Human beings)? Or even in other words. How does the Soul of souls, show the souls that it is master of all souls? Perfection can only be realised in a dream like state and never perfectly be reflected by words or a mirror. The goal here is to reflect God's perfection in your own soul (Projected outward by your thoughts, beliefs and actions), then you can really tap into this truth.

Christians know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
The Bible is the Word of God.
Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
It is ONLY through Jesus that we are saved and by the Grace of God that we are forgiven.

sibling rivalry, they couldn't argue with a buddhist or animist because such a person would have no reason to listen to a word they say.

because Torah did not remain the same so when Jesus(pbuh) told them the complete truth they denied it and thought that he was against God. and same with Christianity; Christianity did not remain the same, so when Mohammad (pbuh) told them the whole truth they denied him also.
