Automobiles?
1. Put pollution into the air from burning the fuel.
2. Accidents injure and kill people.
3. Drive more and walk less - not as much exercise so not as healthy.
4. Destroy habitat to make roads and parking lots.
5. Pollute and destroy habitat to obtain petroleum.
6. Rely on foreign sources of petroleum.

The one and one disadvantage with mobile which I feel is that it seems to kill slowly the human potentiality for face to face contact building and interaction capacity with other person (s) in our daily lives. This impact is apparently visible among the young generation everywhere. Many young people, for instance, tend to lose precious in-person social coherence with others like family members, community groups, even certain peer groups because of their addiction with the mobile-based communication. Another associated disadvantage of mobile phone is that decisions taken through mobile communication particularly on psycho-social contexts often lead to conflicts because mobile based decisions limit our observation value to read ones body language which constitutes an important element during any decision making process. What I mean here is that mobile communications on many occasions show signs of deception. So getting hooked to mobile always is not goooooooooooooooooooood.

Shouldn't keep it in the pant pockets. I've heard that the rays generated can hamper the gene pool and children subsequently are addicted to using the mobile.

while we are talking in cell phones the rays called ir rays will affect the human body.This is the main disadvantage of using cell phones.

Mobiles r really cool devices, unless u go on using them exessively.Anything in excess can give u problems.
The radiation emmited by mobiles r really harmfull.You must not keep ur mobiles in ur chest pocket.
