I guess I just can't comprehend that people actually do that, I mean what is that practice like and is there any comparisons to traditional US or other marriages. Thanks for any help you can give I just can't believe that what I saw on Borat was actually happening somewhere.

it's actually illegal and I have never heard of one except in the movies. We don't do it in the US. Pamela Anderson and Borat were acting in a movie.

Are you serious? Borat's Kazakhstan is all fiction. Sacha Baron Cohen who plays Borat said that he is actually making fun of people who think that something like the Kazakhstan he portrays in the movie might really exist.
There is really a country named Kazakhstan but it has nothing to do with what is shown in the movie.
