Is he talkative-I don't go for the silent types. He needs to be able to communicate with me.

The first thing that attracts me is his eyes. If he has Viggo Mortenson or Sean connery eyes, I'll look further. If he has "dead" eyes (no visible emotion or life) I'm gone.

Then it's his voice and mannerisms. If he's a total clutz, but is respectful and well spoken, I'll stick around for more.

After getting inside his head a little, then the rest of the body comes into play, but still his manner can overcome a lot of potential physical flaws. If his arms around me feel right, I don't care if he's got a gut. If he looks at me and I can see myself reflected as he sees me, he can step on my toes and I'll still be there.

It's all the little things, like refusing to buy flowers when he screws up because that will cheapen the thought, or getting up with the baby because I have to work the next day. Turning off the lights and just sitting in the dark holding me when I have a migraine. Calling me when he knows I can't answer my cell phone just to leave a voicemail saying he loves me, or getting upset with himself when he worries me by being out late and driving home tired.

Indulging my obsession with books and encouraging me to write and draw and paint. (Even when I say I suck) Shooing me out the door to get my nails done when I'm not sure we can afford it this week because he knows how good it makes me feel about myself. Helping me dye my hair because he knows how much I love it red.

Oops, I just realized this turned into a list of my husband's qualities...I hope it answered your question though.

I usually look for guys that actually love and care for me a lot, are honest, funny, intelligent, has good communication with me, and understanding. I feel that these are the most important things everyone needs in a relationship.

In a relationship with I guy I look for other qualities besides sex which are honesty, affection, conversation, fun, and compatibility. We do not have to be exact down to a tee it's good to have a little diversity in a relationship as well.

#1 a great since of humor, stability, honesty, loyalty, inner strength, security & truth. I want to know he's always got my back no matter what! I want him to look into my eyes and see everything, I want to know when I lay down, close my eyes he will always be there when I wake up. And when times are hard he will be right there with me!

I look 4 a nice guy who's nice 2 me & won't ever make fun of me (it hurts ALOT). I don't focus on appearance as much as kindness & sincerity.

commitment.. at least while we have the relationship otherwise "its me or her". never like being two in one shot (in other words, if its me then its me. he found someone else; ask me to let go & you shall have it) but it must be with a good reason.
