Ya, u have all the conditions that can induce hairloss.
So, get rid of the stressful life that you lead, try set tasks in ways that can reduce stress.
Start eating you meals properly as an unbalanced diet can induce problems combined with the stress that you are facing.
The hard water can't be helped if you are in an area that supplies hard water only, but, a good nourishing shampoo can do you good. Can, try a good hair oil as an option to that.

If you have the male pattern balding genes in you, you will still continue to experience hair loss no matter how much you de-stress yourself.

I suggest you stop using the prescription from your dermatologist. All these chemicals are causing more hair loss for you. Use olive oil to massage your scalp and hair once every two days and wash daily with a pH balanced shampoo.

Watch out for ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulphate/ Sodium laureth sulfate as these ingredients CAUSE hair fall and worse still, your follicles will be damaged by these ingredients and new hair will not be able to grow.

Stress and skipping meals is what is causing you to lose your hair. I suggest you try to eat healthier and wash your hair more then twice a week (but don't wash everyday). Avoid any hair products like moose or gel for a while and don't try combing that often either. When your hair is wet, comb with a wide-tooth comb or your hair will break off (hair is more fragile when it's wet). Take it from me, I know a lot about hair! I hope that this come in handy. Anymore questions and I'd be happy to answer for you!

DONT EVER mess with your DHT, either naturally (Saw Palmetto, green tea, pumpkin seed) or taking propecia or finasteride unless you plans to lose your manhood. DHT is not causing your hairloss. if that was the case, all 16 year olds will go bald. If you reduce your DHT, even using natural methods, you will go impotent and lose your mandhood. Don’t believe in the internet hype that reducing DHT will help baldness. Worst mistake of my life. Just let it go and you will feel so much better bald or short hair. I wish someone warmed before taking Saw Palmett

Consult a physician.Avoid chemicals which are in the form of shampoos.Shorten your hair as much as possible. Also see is there any body in your family that is your father or grand fathers with bald heads. If so then you can only control the loss.

You're a medical student and you are in poor health and you don't suspect that could be the reason for your hair loss? You could try Rogaine, but you need to get your health under control, or it might not work.
