This is a basically a lottery than can enable non us citizens to obtain green cards...........but beware there are many sites out there that will ask you to pay............the lottery is free thus if there's payment involved don't apply. i Think it starts from October 4 through December 3 every year. also If you receive a visa through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program you will be authorized to live and work permanently in the United States. You will also be allowed to bring your spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21 to the United States.

The US Diversity Visa Lottery is a way for people who want to immigrate to the US but have no family ties or employment offers to try to do so.
