Hey! Just want to say thank you to all your suggestions/ they're very valuable - but there's no reply back option. You can search the net, but it only gives you a little bit of information // not very useful :) But your input is so much help :) gives insight and instructions... I've written everything down.

Get an all day ferry pass that allows you unlimited ferry travel as well as rail transport. You can do Manly and wonder up and down the Corso, return to Circular Quay and then hop on a ferry out to Watson's Bay where you can visit the gap and indulge in fish and chips at Doyles. If you feel like it you can take the river cat up the Parramatta river to Parra and you can even go to Taronga Zoo or Luna Park. Walk back across the bridge then hop on a train at the end of the day and experience the night life of Kings Cross. I've done just such a day and it was a lot of fun. Also, don't forget a day trip to the Blue Mountains and if you have the time, go on to Jenolan Caves as well. If you love exploring then Sydney has so much to offer.

SYDNEY! Everyone seems to misspell the name.
Everyone has different tastes. I guess You will do the usual things: Lunch and the view at Sydney (Centre Point) Tower, Harbor Bridge walk and climb, Manly Ferry ride, Train ride to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, Rent a car and do a drive Yourself tour of the Sydney area, Helicopter flight, surfing at Bondi, go to the Aquarium at Manly, Kings Cross, Seafood Restaurants (King's Street, Newtown is a pretty good place to grab a meal), shopping (clothes), shopping (tourist stuff) and let's see, more shopping, etc. Try the local beer, ask for a "Schooner of "Toohey's New". Pub food normally consists of steaks and pasta dishes.
Might I suggest that You just wing it and pick up all the visitors guides at the hotel and take it from there. The best way to see Sydney is to buy a weekly Bus/Train/Ferry ticket Railway station vending machines sell them for about $40.00 and make Your plans accordingly. Look up some maps on the Internet re. Public Transport so as to get an idea of the size of the place. Don't forget to check out the weather before You come down here, it helps with the planing. Cheers!

Go on the jet boats! or w/e they are called in sydney harbour!!! Bondi on Sunny day... the water was warm when i went like 1-2 weeks ago and trains run there from the city (our train system uis quite sucky). Taronga s good if you have a long time you can go to katoomba (blue mt's) but it takes like 2-3 hrs to get there by car. Darling arbour is easy to get to and there is always something happening. Shoping in the Queen Victoria building... a train station stop is right underneath it. Lunar park and the easter show are both good options but it ends sometime in the next few days... or even take a day out to go horse riding i suggest otford farm trail rides(google it) its about 30mins-1hr on the train and its the only horseriding place i know of that you can get public transport to and the trail rides go through the rainforest.

If it's a clear day, go up the Sydney Tower (it's inside the Pitt Street Mall - ask anyone in the centre, but you can see it for miles around!). The view is stunning and Oztrek, a theatre experience that is included in the price, is great too.

Taronga Zoo is always worth a visit. The giraffes have million dollar views from their enclosure! Take the ferry from Circular Quay.

Luna Park, the funfair, is great too. Ferry to Milsons Point.

And Darling Harbour is fantastic. Loads to do and see, great shops and cafes as well.

Have fun!

One recommendation is to take a ferry from Circular Quay over to Taronga Zoo. You can not only see heaps of animals (Australian and foreign - you can do the photo with a koala there if you feel obliged too) but it has a great view over the Harbour... (There's a cable car ride there to get you from the bottom of the hill when you arrive from the ferry)

Bondi Junction is the best place to shop (in my opinion) it has a train station (Bondi Junction) next to it and is only a short bus ride to the beach (on Sundays there are markets there as well)

Ah the fling. Well some girls I've been with probably didn't want to fling but I was travelling around europe so I couldn't stay too long, plus there's a lot of girls in europe, haha. It might sound weird but I really just liked the company and getting to know someone, that was the bits I remember more than anything. Plus when you're with people for the first few weeks they're trying to impress you and always share some really great stories. I remember that more than anything else.

Great suggestions from everyone!
While at Circular Quay, walk along to the Sydney Aquarium. It's worth a look.

Shop till you drop! That's what my wife tells me... Personally, I love to take the ferry over to Manly, walk the beaches, and enjoy a dinner at one of the many great resteraunts. For a change of pace, try the Koala Park and the museums. Finish the night off at the Opera House in one of the smaller auditoriums with a musical.
