I plan on buying a washer for my home but I don't have the connections for it. Do I have to call a plumer or something to install the pipes in the wall and stuff? If I do about how much would it cost me?

Adding the plumbing (Hot, Cold and drain) could be very expensive depending on how far away from the hot water heater its going to be placed. The best solution is to place it close to the hot water heater for easy taps into the hot and cold water pipes, the drain is also problematic because you cant just dump this water anywhere it needs to go to the sewer system.

Yes, you NEED the hookups.. If you have an apartment, they probably won't do it.. I don't know how much they'd charge for a house.. It depends on where your pipes are located and stuff.. Just call around to a few contractors.. It shouldn't be too expensive.. Probably not over a grand.. Good luck!!

There's a lot of variables here so, I would guess you'd better get someone that knows what there doing to give you the proper instructions and the proper advice so you can purchase the right hook-ups for the washer. And, you'll need to know where to put it for convenience.
