When it comes to life and fear it's more pleasant to believe in an organized religion than the truth. The truth can be scary.

well, some people belive that God will tell them everything and do everyhing for them. I on the other hand, do not. I have to do everything for myself. my purpose in life is to help children. The question about what life's purpose is personal to everyone. therefore their life's purpose is their own. again, mine is to work with children, and others can be to work with elders or charity. whatever a person's passion in life is, it is their life's purpose that they are to follow their dreams. i guess an easy answer to the life's purpose wuestion is to follow your own dreams. not to depend on others to show you the way every step you take.

I don't. I look to the source... the Bible. Those that go to organized religion miss the point. God wants us to seek Him not other people. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

because they don't know how to be spiritual by themselves .when were supposed to be spiritual by asking of the spirit within all by ourselves .religions don't always teach how to do that , we must ask of the spirit for guidance and direction in life are were lost,no matter what religion, there is a spirit of God which we must call on with faith and love, without faith and love the spirit will not be opened unto us.

Because, World Governments and the News Media ram religion down our throats. Ever hear them talk about non-believers?

Your statement is not valid in my situation or many Christians that I know. We depend on the Resurrected Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit/Ghost and God the Father that have touched our lives in marvelous and wonderful ways that no one can believe who have not experienced personally.
2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

Personally, it was not organized religion that answered my questions in life. It was Jesus Christ.
