come true?How did you deal with this? Was it as terrifying in real life as in your dream? What did you do? Do you have dreams and or visions whether positive or negative, sometimes?
I had a premonition about me being in a car accident...I saw the right color cars..and and island in the middle of the street,as well as lights...and a small silver car went and turned in front of a white and a silver bluish car..(made a left turn) when it should have waited for the others cars...and that is pretty much what happened to me, in real life! I was okay..and luckily didn't hurt or kill anybody! I was in a white car...and the car that turned left illegally in front of me..was a small silver car!( when I had that dream..I woke up really fast...I knew that it wasn't just a "dream"!) :-( but, lucky for me, there were police (about ten more or less where I had the real accident at...and other people...and I wasn't at fault!)

IN 1979, my mom,and two brothers and I drove across the U.S. all the way to Maine...but, we stopped at various sites..and one of them was The World Trade Center...I recall being at the top of the building...a little dizzy from the elevator ride up...but after a bit.. I had these feelings that something terrible would happen to the building that the people who were going to do something(I didn't see it) were NOT from the U.S. I saw what they wore...and I grew really frightened..and all I wanted to do was get out of there...that was the ONLY time I had been on that building! I just had this overwhelming fear that wasn't getting any better!! Luckily we went down...I didn't tell anybody really about my fear...I knew that they would not believe me! I have years later...but not that much before!!!!I thought that it would probably happen in like ten years from that time...I was off! But, I knew that it was a direct attack on the U.S.!

I also never believed that the U.S. would care about that attack..more at that time..then now...but, I couldn't have been more wrong or off!!!

I had the same dream three times, but I didn't understand it until something happened. I try to understand my dreams better ever since, because I think I could have prevented it, if I understood. What happened was the worst thing that happened to me ever, yet. I will always miss my bro.
My last terrifying dream was about a mega tsunami and it showed the bay that I recognized as the exact same area that the tsunami hit in my dream after moving to where we live now.... we moved here two years after the dream. I sure hope that it will never happen. It's been quite a few years since that dream. I also dreamed about warship and airplanes in this exact same dream.... the warship was heading home... at the same time the tsunami strucked... when I woke up my husband called from work and told me to turn on the TV and I saw the 911 twin tower attacks happening (we live in Hawaii, so I was still in bed sleeping when it was happening).... I told my husband that my dream was telling me that a war was about to begin... which is what exactly happened... and is still happening... I pray to God that that tsunami will never happen, though.

Every time someone I love is about to die, I have a dream about it. The problem is that its never clear enough that I understand whats happening until after it happens. They are always extremely vivid and I find out later that it happened EXACTLY in the way I dreamt it did.
Usually I wake up at the exact moment of the death of the person.
So yes, quite often. And it sucks. It happens with friends too.
Let me say that the only time that didn't happen was when my mom died. Although I had a feeling.
My mom and I were extremely close. Its possible my own brain was protecting me from the pain of her loss so I didn't have a dream that night.

All the time, I have had nightmares sense.... as far back as I can remember.
Nightmares are normal for me
Take a few deep breathes, calm yourself, say- "it was just a dream, nothing more." Get a drink of water, or use the restroom. Lay down, and don't move. Do not get up until its time to get up, no matter how much you lay there staring at the walls or the cieling, stay calm and breath.
Should you see the situation arising while you are out- avoid the accident, pull over, leave the area, or what have you.

I've had several, the first one was when I was in high school and dreamt that a ceiling came down on a friend of mine's head--I warned him about it and a few days later we were putting up band shells, he thought of my dream, and was paying attention, and jumped back when a pin snapped and the structure swung around backwards and almost beheaded him--my most recent one was about ditching my car, but I always pay attention to my dreams and to reality, just in case

There are few things about dreams in their own categories.....
Premonitions are like unto revelations..... And are most certainly precognitive.......
unlike prophetic dreams, premonitions usually occur within 3 days to a week of the dream having been seen..... and are usually messages specific to the dreamer......
Prophetic dreams, on the other hand, are dreams that are meant for a mass of people... are not specific to the dreamer, and can take a long period of time, if not years, to come into fruition......
I had a premonition, after my house burnt down, we had to sta with friends for exactly 1 month...... One of my friend's sons had a "mental" problem and had a thing for one of my daughters..... My son would not have it.....
In the dream, I saw a playground.... and two kids there... One was my son, and another kid whom I knew, but could not tell who it was..... He had a syringe and was threatening my son with it...... I had a little talk with him and told him that I would consult with his mother about his behavior and he ran away..... Later, my car had a breakline cut... and was smoking, preventing me from driving it..........
THAT DAY...... after I awakened.... I went to work and recieved a phone call, not 3 hours after I arrived... that my friends kid had a knife held to my son's throat.... .When he found out that I was on my way to the house..... He ran away.... We had to have cops looking for him.... His parents had him "302d"...... The next day, my car had a carburator hose cut that caused a mass of smoke to encircle the car... and we could not drive it until that hose was repaired.

i haven't experienced those kinds of premonition's as well....but i do believe that you were lucky enough to have that special feeling....i do have dream but that were all about having a good future....but then I'm lucky enough to achieve it one by one because of my own sacrifices and because of the trials I've encountered which makes me stronger and became a better person...thanks god his always there to help me...

I sometimes dream of a gray cube with cracks in it.
It looks dirty and very ugly. when I wake up its gone. I have this for years
