We are hosting a luncheon at our church for the widows and want to call it something other than a Widow's Luncheon. Do you have any ideas?

White roses are often associated with memorializing those who have gone on before us. Why not a "White Rose Luncheon"? It even gives you a theme for the decor. Once it has been explained what the White Rose Luncheon is, the name will have meaning for participants, but won't be a "downer."

Call it a Tribute Gathering/Luncheon. It's a tribute to them as survivors of a terrible pain. It's also a tribute to their loved ones. That's a very nice idea by the way.
