I just had a relaxer put in about 2 weeks ago that I thought would do the trick but, now my hair seems to be too straight to hold waves. What can I do to get a nice wave pattern going? Any products or techniques anyone can recommend?

Yeah you left that stuff in too long. I used to do the s-curl texturizer thing but I eventually quit and started to develop my waves the old fashioned way. This involves....
1.)brushing A LOT. Always keep you're brush on you.

2.)make sure you get your hair cut and washed regularly.

3.) make sure the bristles on your brush are hard enough. For shorter hair and for right after a cut use a softy. For longer nappier hair use a medium or hard brush.

4.) Make sure you're brushing right. Start from the center of the scalp and brush outwards towards the hair line. Brush the sides in a slight slant.

5.) Protect your pattern by wearing a wave cap or durag at night.

Brushing is what develops your waves. The only thing that the wave cap and pomade does is enhance the look of the waves by weighing your hair down.
It will probably take a few weeks for you to see any results. If you want fresh waves all throughout your hair it will take a few months. It takes a lot of patience at first but it will get easier for you once you start seeing results.

There are ALOT of products that you can use. If you just got a cut you might want to use "let's jam". It smells really good and makes your hair shiny. It also has a pretty good hold. If its been a while since you got a cut it would be best to get some pomade to hold your hair down. There are many types of pomades but these are what I recommend:

shorter hair: "Sportin Waves" (in a black can usually be found just about anywhere but family dollar is guaranteed to have it)

medium length hair:"Sportin Waves"(in a gold can also found just about anywhere)

longer hair: "Dax"(in a red can found in a lot of places but walmart is guaranteed to carry it)

You might want to put a warm damp towel over your hair after putting in the pomades. It will loosen it up some so it will be easier to work with. There is also something called the H2o method which involves constantly wetting your hair throughout the day and brushing it until its near dry. You can find out more about this by going to 360waves.net.

What you were trying to do was a texturizer, if u leave it in to long then the hair becomes to straight, which is not really needed to get waves, now you have to cut the straight hair down to the new growth (natural hair) then continue to brush your hair with a medium boar bristle brush. the key is to brush your hair as much as possible, depending on your hair texture & length, you can get waves in a matter of hours. Hope this helps you out & remember to keep BRUSHIN'!

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOf90 Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

You're going to have the cut the straight hair out. Try going to your local beauty supply store. They have pomades and stuff that claim to promote waves.

I prefer hair which is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like females are more often then not straight, they like long hair because this looks more feminine, as most men have short hair.
