He is because He is. I believe in God, because He has been there when I've needed him most. He's never left my side. So I know he exists.

Yes. I assure you that He is real. I have a 23 step program that will ensure that you have a close relationship with Him that will yield prosperity and deep, lasting happiness. Right now, I'm running a special and it is only going to cost you the unbelieveably low price of $3300. If you have a friend sign up too, you will receive a coupon for $1000 off. Get close to God today and discover just how real He is.

Check out this testimony:

"I didn't even know if God existed. I was sad and anxious. Then I found Michael's 23 step program. My new relationship with God has covered the initial sign up fee seven-fold. I only wish I'd known about it earlier."

I believe God is real, but I don't assume God is a he -- or even a she for that matter. As to "why," that's a question nobody could possibly know the answer to. Why is the Universe real?

I don't know how old you are? but will say that if you use the very thing that you have built into that is your sense of reasoning you will know then that every house has a builder and every house ever built has a set of plans.
So like wise the Things you see and the precise way they are designed should show you that it took intelligent designer to do these things; The earth, the stars, the human body, animals,
The precision in the designs. (Romans 1:19-21) . . .. 20 For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable; 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened.

God is real my friend. Just look all around you at all the amazing trees and animals. If that is not enough to realize there is a creator then perhaps I may direct you to a simple book written by a former atheist who asked the very same question. His name is Josh McDowell and he has written many books. But this book is by far the simplest and easiest to understand. "More than a Carpenter". This book is an appetizer to the fascinating world of apologetics. If you like his work.. by all means check out more of his books.

God is real. If you want proof, just look around you, and nature is proof that God exists. The Bible is God's Word and answers many questions that we have. But sometimes, you just have to take the step of faith and BELIEVE.

There are thousands of ideas of what God is, but I certainly feel there's a creative and orchestrative energy guiding the Universe. Why? I was an athiest all my life until ten years ago when an amazing force came to me and I knew right away it was something spiritual. It changed my life and I suddenly understood that everything's connected.
