Let they will be the whole of the Law; let thy wil be love.
I love that quote by him - I use it often, if only in my own head

But hey, I'm a spiritual vagabond.
I keep what I can use and toss the rest, regardless of source.

There are certain spiritual principles that are universal. You will find them in every spiritual path. To love everyone happens to be one of them - once you get to the "advanced lessons" - which might be the reason why so many fundamentalists of every persausion never get to it...

Love is not the coddling kind. Love is more akin to that of the spirit og Rah-Hoor-Khuit. Stern, vengeful, not free. You also forgot the part of the quote "Under Will," that means love is placed under the individual's true self and purpose.

Love is a very weird term, essentially based on the fact that things exist, Nuit, though as infinite she seems, loves [though not like the kind between people]. Love is used by many faiths.

Crowley was quoted as such; "I eventually came to Realize that I did not hate God, but instead, I hate the God of those I hate.."

Crowley was a Thelemite [the founder], which uses much Egyptian influences , so he was not talking about Yahweh. The love he spoke of, to re-iterate, was not necessarily a divine one, but one greater than the divine.

I prefer Occultist. Just don't call me a Wiccan.

No, Crowely was not goo goo for God in the christian term. He is very much a pagan. We believe in living life in perfect love and perfect trust. Whatever we give out comes back to us.

Alister Crowley was a misguided and dangerous man. Do not follow his teachings. I am very open minded and I do not have a problem with pagan religions, so that is not why I say this. Many occultist say the same about him.
