What are some signs that you are in a girl's "friend zone"?

Alright nice_guys_should_always_win_69, let me give it to you straight.

Woman don't put men in the friend zone, only girls do. Women know exactly what kind of guy they want, don't play games, and are more forth-coming with their intentions. Girls either don't know what they want, aren't ready for a relationship based upon anything more than physical attraction, or are just simply oblivious to the fact that the best relationships are based upon friendship first. Woman see friendship differently than girls do. Woman appreciate the opportunity to see if there is chemistry; girls use it as a holding tank for guys they have no real interest in but want to keep around as back-ups.

Unfortunately, since you're in uni, you're going to tend to run into more girls than women and will indubitably have to deal with all kinds of crazy chick logic. Needless to say, this will frustrate the hell out of you.

Ah, but there's hope! Since not every female in college is a girl, there must be some women, right? She's the one who's more concerned with her education than some frivolous college hook-up and thus makes her work a priority. She's the one who won't waste her time with someone she's not interested in and won't flirt just for the attention. She's the one with her wits about her that hasn't a second to spare on the boys and instead dates the men.

Who are these men? These are the boys that finally grew up and realized that niceness isn't enough. They are the ones that know what they want and aren't afraid to take risks to get it. They don't play games and see friendship as a way to take it slow, not as some sneaky way into a woman's heart. Above all, these men have realized they'd rather have a woman respect them rather than "like" them so they never accept anything less than they wanted in the beginning.

Well, one of the surest signs that you're in the friend zone is when a woman compares you to her brother, or mentions what a good "friend" you are. Also, when she tells you about her guy problems like you're some kind of therapist, that's also a sign. But the only SURE sign is when you ask her out and she says she doesn't see you "like THAT" or she comments about your friendship right afterward. I don't know of any way to escape the friend zone. It's all but impossible to leave the Friend Zone. Best way possible is to make yourself unavailable and start dating other women. She may start seeing you in a different light.
